Due to the blogger's Schwab debit card ATM withdrawals (four times five thousand), the card was locked due to risk control, so the Charles Schwab account has been canceled. Recently, I have been trying to use the ZEN debit card as my primary card. ZEN is not easily subject to risk control, and the overall experience is quite good; deposits, withdrawals, and daily spending are all very smooth.

Regarding deposits: I transferred 1,000 euros to the ZEN account from IBKR via SEPA, which IBKR shows as having been sent out, but it took ZEN eight hours to credit the account. It is unclear whether this triggered a manual review by ZEN.

Regarding ATM withdrawals: I pre-activated the Pricing plan and withdrew a total of 10,000 yuan in four transactions—three times three thousand and once one thousand—approximately deducting 1,277.38 euros from the ZEN account without triggering risk control.

Currently, the ZEN card can successfully withdraw cash at ATMs of the four major banks (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank); other local banks do not support it. If an ATM of one of the four major banks shows "service cannot be completed for some reason," you can try the ATMs of the four major banks one by one.

When withdrawing from ATMs, it is usually advisable to select the checking account option. Among the ATMs of the Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank, there are no currency exchange fees. For withdrawals of one thousand from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, approximately 50 yuan is charged as a currency exchange fee.

Daily spending: The ZEN card is linked to Alipay for single transactions under 200 yuan, and Alipay waives the service fee. In the past week, I have bought breakfast, coffee, takeout, and flight tickets on Fliggy every day without triggering ZEN's risk control.
